Its week 4 of my Polycystic Ovary Syndrome weight loss journey and that means I have reached the end of Month 1. Weight wise I have lost 5kg (11 pounds) but I have gained so much more! My confidence has hugely increased and I feel a lot better about being in my swimsuit on the beach. It's only been a month so I can't wait to see where I am at the end of Month 2! My goal is to reach a weight that I feel super confident in, which will help me to manage my PCOS naturally and I am still working toward getting back into my trousers. If you would like to join my PCOS fitness journey, you can follow along on Instagram, TikTok and Youtube.
Day 22
I started my day off with a power walk and then for breakfast I had yoghurt (FAGE 5% Fat Greek Style) with honey. For lunch I had two poached eggs with some fried halloumi and then for tea I had half a butternut squash with a tuna steak. I got out for a walk after tea but it was only a short one. I bought a few new dresses from ASOS that arrived today and posted a video to show everyone what I had bought.
Day 23
I decided to wear my new polka dot dress today, which made me feel really good! For breakfast, I had yoghurt, honey and blueberries before starting my day of work. For lunch, I had a portabello mushroom on a bed of onions and some potatoes. After work, I went for a walk on the common with my boys and then for tea I had a naked burger with a few hand-cut chips and salad. I did have a couple of squares of chocolate this evening whilst watching a film!
Day 24
For breakfast, I had yoghurt, granola and honey and for my mid-morning snack, I had a bowl of cherries. For lunch, I had pasta, creme fresh and bacon which isn't healthiest but I had a small portion and had brown pasta. Carbs are an important part of a diet especially as I am increasing the amount of exercise I am doing but I am focusing on getting in more complex carbs (brown instead of white) which has a lower glycemic index. After work, I went for a walk around the reservoir and then for tea I had chicken with a mushroom and onion sauce, a small amount of mash and honey roasted carrots.
Day 25
Today I stopped and thought about the fact that I am halfway to 50 days! I started my day off the usual way with a powerwalk and then for breakfast I had yoghurt with blueberries and honey. I got cracking with my day of work and then for lunch I had chorizo and onion risotto which was super tasty! After work, I got my second power walk of the day under my belt and for tea I had a salmon noodle bowl from my favourite take away on the island: NUDE.
Day 26
I kicked today off with a power walk and for breakfast, I had yoghurt with honey. I started work and for lunch, I had a mix of stuff that needed eating in the fridge (wast not want not) This meant a poached egg, halloumi, tomato and lardons mix that actually turned out very tasty! After work I got my second power walk of the day in and then for tea we were having Thai takeaway so I had a vegetable stir fry to keep healthy I had vegetable stir fry with rice
Day 27
For breakfast today I had yoghurt, granola and honey; I then filmed a youtube video for my channel which explains more about PCOS. For lunch, I had tomato pasta and then I went on my second walk of the day with Alan. Tea was a chicken kieve, roasted peppers and hand-cut chips and I also watched a Disney Princess movie, it was that kind of night!
Day 28
For breakfast, I had yoghurt and honey and then I went out for my morning power walk, I then had a low carb, low sugar lemon cake. I then started work on the outhouse which I am turning into a workshop for my business The Old Factory. For lunch, Mum made me a full English because I worked so hard and I deserved it! The afternoon was spent fixing the drains on the outhouse. For tea, I had chicken kieve, potatoes and vegetables.
